soundsofrevolt asked: I play soccer for my school's team, and for the past month we've had conditioning, in the morning. Just today we're switching our practices to the afternoon. I recently downloaded the MyFitnessPal app to make sure I was getting enough calories. It says I burn about 442 calories from soccer, so I would just make up for it throughout the day. But now it's 5:30-7:30, and I always try to finigh eating and everything around 7:30 or 8:00. And suggestions on how to distribute my calories effectively now?
I’d suggest something with protein like yogurt, nuts or some leftovers - small, high density nutrients that can help rebuild muscles. I’m no expert, but I’d say if you’re not hungry then don’t force yourself to eat more? I commend you on eating back the calories & spacing it out/making up for it during the day, but once it hits 7:30 or 8 I’d say don’t worry about it too much (unless you have like a 500 calorie deficit). Hope this helps!
