Anonymous asked: The last few weeks I've been eating 2-5 tbsp of peanut butter everyday and I'm scared I might gain fat. I make sure to keep within calorie range and macros, but still can't help but worry I'm overdoing it. Are there any detriments in eating peanut butter every day ie, too much saturated fat? I just love it so much! For reference I'm 5'2 110lbs female.

If you’re within your macros, I don’t see why not. If it’s natural peanut butter I think it’s a nice indulgence for you.

Trading burgers (saturated fat) for peanut butter sandwiches reduces your risk of developing heart disease. In fact, the more often you eat peanut butter (and nuts), the lower your risk of heart disease. (Hu, J Am College Nutr 20(1):5, 2001)
