Anonymous asked: I hate HATE hate hate hate veggies, but I know I need to eat them to get on the track to lose weight and have a better lifestyle. Do you have any tips on how to incorprate them into my eating habits or make them less gross?

I love this question SO MUCH. I absolutely love to cook! The quality of veggies matters the most. NO CANNED VEGETABLES! Gross… Try to get them at farmer’s markets.

This is my all time favorite recipe:

Haricot vert with shallots

Follow it EXACTLY! Do not use “green beans” you can find haricots verts at Trader Joe’s, Fresh & Easy, and Whole Foods.

For other veggies like broccoli, I like to steam them first in the microwave, then saute them in a pan with a TINY amount of butter, like the thinnest slice possible, plus a little olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste!

Buy petite peas and sweet corn frozen because they lock the flavor in really well.

Sweet potatoes: roast in the oven at 400F for 40-60 mins (whole, not cut up) then eat with a tiiiiiny bit of butter and lots of salt!

Any specific veggies?
